Key responsibilities / day-to-day job functions

  • Assist faculty in developing expertise in instructional practices;
  • Coordinate and implement the master schedule for all specials and instructional classes;
  • Evaluate staff in accordance with diocesan procedures;
  • Work with diocesan offices to coordinate licensure updates, New Employee and Out of Service, Beginning Teacher Packets;
  • Complete building master schedules as well as testing and special event schedules;
  • Coordinate and oversee standardized testing, including review of results, reporting scores to parents, data collection, and data analysis with classroom teachers;
  • Oversee Safe Environment compliance and CPR/Red Cross training compliances

Supervises

  • Assists the principal in the supervision of 50 full-time and part-time faculty and administrative staff.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be a practicing Catholic in good standing
  • Have a Master’s degree in Educational Administration / Leadership or closely related field
  • Have 3 years of successful teaching, preferably in Catholic Schools
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of successful senior leadership experience, preferably with K-8 experience
