Key responsibilities / day-to-day job functions

  • Administrative responsibilities including teacher licensure oversight
  • Supervision and support of students
  • Supervision, evaluation and support of faculty and staff
  • Collaboration with Principal, Leadership Team, faculty and staff, parish staff, and school families
  • Mentor and guide both experienced and new teachers in their professional development and classroom curriculum implementation

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum level of Education:
    • Master's degree, or currently enrolled in a Master's degree program (or higher), in areas related to Educational Administration, Curriculum, or Instruction;
    • Have, or be eligible for, an administrator's license from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction
  • Minimum amount of Work Experience
    • Years of related work experience: 3+ years of teaching experience or as a Principal or Assistant Principal, preferably in a Catholic educational setting
    • Area of related work experience: Classroom teaching experience as well as administrative/leadership experience in a PreK - Grade 8 school
  • Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church

  • Commitment to Catholic education and its continual improvement
  • Technologically proficient in school administrative software and web-based communication tools


  • Faculty and staff in coordination with the Principal
  • PreK-4 through Grade 8 students
