Hours per week:  40 Hours per week with some variable after-hours and weekend/on call requirements

Key responsibilities / day-to-day job functions:

  • Support the Pastor’s administrative responsibilities to the parish (Church, School, and associated ministries)  
  • Practice Servant Leadership and be a steward of the financial, physical, and human resources of the parish
  • Maintain and provide accurate and timely financial records and reports
  • Manage all Payroll processes while ensuring Parish bills are paid and tax/insurance responsibilities are in compliance
  • Supervise Parish exempt & non- exempt staff and applicable volunteers
  • Establish, implement, and manage effective personnel processes and evaluations that comply with Diocesan norms
  • Manage parish office and associated functions
  • Create, implement, train, and manage a parish volunteer program that empowers and motivates parishioners to serve the parish through volunteerism
  • Oversee the general maintenance, repair, and construction of all parish facilities
  • Oversee the effective and efficient use of all parish communication technology and media including but not limited to computers, networks, AV equipment, parish bulletins, website, social media, etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum level of Education:    Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum amount of Work Experience
    • 3-5 Years of general business and direct supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated understanding and practitioner of Servant Leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Practicing Catholic
  • Proficient in all Microsoft office applications
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Strong communication skills (oral and business writing) and demonstrated organizational ability

  • Supervise Parish exempt & non- exempt staff and applicable volunteers
