Key responsibilities / day-to-day job functions:

This position provides outstanding administrative support to the departments of operations, stewardship and safe environment with tact and confidentiality.  The ability to multi-task in an effective and efficient manner is required, as this position handles a wide variety of duties, including website and database management, as well as communications and logistical support for events. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and desktop publishing.
  • Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks.
  • Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training within 60 days of hire.
  • Minimum level of Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum amount of Work Experience:
    • Years of related work experience:  2 years preferred.
    • Experience working in a ministerial environment is preferred.
