Hours Per Week:  40 (Full-time - some evening and weekend work may be required, as needed)

Key responsibilities / day-to-day job functions:

  • Provide daily administrative support to the Faith Formation department.
  • Coordinate communications to include website, social media, bulletin and other electronic communication.
  • Coordinate registration event in collaboration with formation team.
  • Track and reconcile formation team budget.
  • Serve as formation lead in all areas related to the parish database.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks.
  • Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training within 60 days of hire.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite and database management.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Minimum level of Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum amount of Work Experience:
    • Years of related work experience:  2-3 years
    • Area of related work experience: administrative assistant, project management, or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a ministerial environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret budgets.
