Hours Per Week: 40 (Full-time - some evening and weekend work may be required, as needed)
Key responsibilities / day-to-day job functions:
- Provide daily administrative support to the Faith Formation department.
- Coordinate communications to include website, social media, bulletin and other electronic communication.
- Coordinate registration event in collaboration with formation team.
- Track and reconcile formation team budget.
- Serve as formation lead in all areas related to the parish database.
Minimum Requirements:
- Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks.
- Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training within 60 days of hire.
- Strong knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite and database management.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Minimum level of Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum amount of Work Experience:
- Years of related work experience: 2-3 years
- Area of related work experience: administrative assistant, project management, or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a ministerial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret budgets.
