Key responsibilities / day-to-day job functions

  • Assist Finance Director in various duties
  • Lead Administrative assistant – support and organize administrative staff
  • Process and post weekly contributions in ACS
  • ACS Database Manager
  • Raiser’s Edge Database Manager
  • Oversee entry/deletion of envelope program
  • Order office/kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and file church accounts payable bills
  • Process weekly deposits
  • Proof weekly bulletin
  • Attend weekly staff meetings
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all parish matters
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Finance

Minimum Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Business or equivalent office experience
  • Ability to function in a parish environment
  • Strong organizational skills – multiple tasks
  • Skilled use  of MS Word, Excel, and Publisher
  • Capacity to develop competency with ACS/Raiser’s Edge
  • Able to maintain confidentially and professionalism
  • Team oriented – ability to work toward parish and staff goals
  • Responsive to parish and parishioner needs




Preferred Qualifications

  • Area of related work experience: Catholic parish, school or non profit organization
  • 5 + years of related work experience
  • Strong verbal communication skills
