Key responsibilities / day-to-day job functions

  • Serve as a crucial liaison between the diocese and pastors
  • Provide on-site consultative services to pastors, parish staff, and volunteer stewardship committees to develop a complete, tailored approach to parish stewardship
  • Visit parishes throughout the diocese, maintain bi-weekly contact with all assigned parishes
  • Implement parish stewardship processes, including, but not limited to parishioner engagement strategies, offertory improvement, Bishop’s Annual Appeal, Bishop’s Circle events, and communication and online marketing efforts

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum level of Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum amount of Work Experience: 1-3 years
    • Years of related work experience: 1-3 years
    • Area of related work experience: marketing, fundraising, and/or seasoned relationship building
  • Ability to work effectively with volunteers, donors, staff, contractors, ad others
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office programs, especially Word, Publisher, PowerPoint
  • Must be proficient in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong sense of urgency and a heart for mission
  • Practicing Catholic with a sound working knowledge of the Catholic faith
  • CFRE preferred
