Job Description: The Clinical Counselor will provide culturally competent counseling services to individuals, families, and/or couples in accordance with professional and agency standards. This position will conduct psycho-social assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of services. The Clinical Counselor will maintain client records, collect program data, and produce program reports. This position will also be responsible for collecting counseling fees and providing information to clients for insurance reimbursement according to agency procedures.
Required Qualifications: Licensed or provisionally licensed to provide clinical counseling services in NC; Master’s degree and 1-3 years’ experience; fluent in English and Spanish oral and written communications preferred (not required); demonstrated skill in provision of therapeutic counseling services to adults and children through individual, couple, family and group therapies; knowledge of and commitment to Catholic social teachings and practices and the mission of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh; valid NC Driver’s License and a vehicle in working order for business use; authorized to work in the U.S.; proven computer skills including Word, Excel and other appropriate applications.
