Description
The Immigration Assistant is primarily responsible for providing general support to DOJ Accredited Representatives through a variety of tasks and activities. The position will assist with the preparation of documents and applications, and engage in frequent customer / client contact. The immigration assistant must project a professional image on behalf of the agency through in-person and phone interactions.
Qualifications
Associates degree in human relations with 1-3 years of experience; fluent in Spanish & English oral and written communications required; demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide diversity of people from different ethnic backgrounds; excellent speaking and active listening skills; strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and work under pressure; proven computer skills including Word, Excel, and other appropriate applications; knowledge of and commitment to Catholic social teachings and practices and the mission of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh; authorized to work in the U.S.; valid NC Driver’s License and a vehicle in working order for business use.
